Back in the early 70's Mr. Y. V. Palande started business of bringing the goods from Mumbai, urgently required by Pune based businessmen at minimal commission. Due to prompt, reliable and economical service the business spread in Mumbai and Pune.
                                                                                       After the advent of transport sector and the industrial growth in Pune, the business started to slow down as transportation of goods through the Transport Companies proved to be a cheaper alternative. During those days the postal service was not quick and prompt, it was proving inconvenient for Banks and Business houses as a result Banks and business houses turned to courier services for time bound delivery of documents, Seizing this oppurtunity Mr. Y. V. Palande started "Palande Courier" to provide courier services and used to deliver documents on the next day.

In 1983 "United Western Bank" at Satara awarded the contract of Pune-Satara-Pune and Satara-Mumbai-Satara courier service and thus the business started to grow in Satara as well. In 1985 Kolhapur branch was started and in subsequent years a branch was started in most of the districts of Maharashtra.
As time flew, the devotion and striving assembled its fruits to form an extensive organisation with addition to its services, and number of branches, extending its service hands to all the people far and near from their region. Thus a colossal increase in patronage.

"Palande Courier" now provides its service throughout India and Abroad.
